MISSION
The mission of the Pleasure Bee Training is to support the Shades of Honey Community with deepening their understanding of a variety of body and reproductive health topics through a series of 7 sessions using mixed media art forms, interactive exercises compounded with small and large group discussion. Each session is intended to be 120 minutes and for folks 18+. Bees are encouraged to attend ALL 7 of the sessions in order to achieve the PLEASURE BEE 2023 CERTIFICATION.

NORMS
-
All interests, curiosities, kinks and pleasures are all welcome in our space. We aren’t going to judge or shame anyone for their pleasures, curiosities, kinks or interests.
-
Move from a space of compassion and understanding. Treat other bees how they want to bee treated. All bees of all backgrounds and identities are welcome and cared for in our space.
-
Ask questions. All your questions! We’ll have a few different ways for bees to ask questions such as privately, during workshops, and anonymously.
-
Listen with an open mind and open heart. We can hear one another even if we recognize our own stories, perspectives and/or values may differ.
-
During conversations around pleasure and intimacy, bees might share about their personal experiences. We want stories to stay in our space unless consent is given for otherwise. But, if bees learn something new or interesting from the lesson, they can appropriately share that information outside of our space.

We all have different relationships and comfort levels when discussing pleasure and intimacy. Do what you need to do to take care of yourselves during our time together. Show up as you need. If you need support at one point, please reach out to a Shades Member.
